Major road maintenance works have commenced to give a permanent fix to the very bad Kpong Waterworks potion of the Kpong to Akosombo stretch of the highway. The Project which is expected to be completed and open to vehicular traffic in the next few weeks is being executed by Reliance Logistics & Construction Limited, a renowned company in the road construction sector. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality on a working visit to the site expressed his satisfaction at the progress of work few days after the company has moved to site.
The Hon. MCE assured the company of maximum cooperation and support to help them complete the project within the scheduled period. Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in an interview with www.kroboland.com stated that his leadership at the Municipal Assembly will keep working hard to get the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality its fair share of the National development cake including the road project to improve upon the road network in his Municipality.
